The RoPetrol CLASSIC oil separators separates water and oil by utilizing a lower specific weight of oil versus water. The oil separator tank is made of nature-friendly polyethylene [PE]. The chamber wall with the coalescent filter divides the oil separator into two chambers, where the first chamber is settler and the second compartment is an oil separator.

RoPetrol oil separators does not exceed the concentration of mineral oils 5 mg/L on the outflow and belong to the class I.
